ICAR Executive Director set to Speak at Science Pubs ODU

What do we mean when we say we want a more resilient Hampton Roads? Dr. Jessica Whitehead, the Joan P. Brock Endowed Executive Director of the Institute for Coastal Adaptation and Resilience, will frame resilience as more than just projects that protect against tidal flooding - using her personal experiences, she will encourage attendees to engage with how we use science to envision resilience across social, economic, and environmental systems throughout the region over the next 30 years.
