A webinar which allowed those interested in geospatial technology to learn more about storymapping took place on Friday May 13th, 2020. This webinar was assembled by ODU Center for Faculty Development with ODU's Annette Finley-Crosswhite (Professor & Director of Center for Faculty Development) as the host. The goal of the webinar was to hopefully plant a seed of inspiration and to further along engagement in research using storymapping/geospatial technology.
Dr. Tom Allen (Professor of Geography and Program Head, ICAR Sea Level Rise and Climate Science), Dr. Jennifer Whytlaw (Assistant Professor of Geography), Dr. Georgeanne Hribar (Adjunct Geography Professor), Chris Davis (ITS GeoSEA GIS Analyst), and Dr. Wie Yusuf (ODU School of Public Service, ICAR) all were speakers during this webinar, all giving their expertise and providing examples of capabilities they use in research and teaching. See the webinar outline for the full list (with links) of the interactive maps/storymaps shown during the webinar.
